On the prep team, you will use our provided templates and fabric to cut material and "prep" it for the mask makers. You will also cut the elastics to the designated size as well as cutting filters and making labels/tags. 

You will also need to stay updated with how much material is being used, what kind of material is being used, and keeping an inventory of what materials are used and what materials are needed. 

In order to be a mask maker, you have to have a sewing machine and have basic sewing skills. You will sew the materials that were cut and prepared for by the prepping team. We will provide all that you need to make the mask making journey as simple and effortless as possible.   

When you are a part of the technology team, you respond to emails, keep the website updated with the latest news and information, and manage our PayPal. 

As far as emailing, you email those that ordered masks a confirmation email of their order and send tracking numbers/ID when we mail the masks. 

For managing our PayPal, you would keep our chart/spreadsheet updated with how much we spend and how much money is donated.  

Being a part of the marketing team, you play a vital role in keeping our message out there and informing new people that we make free masks. You will also need to create flyers, shipping messages, and maintaining/updating social medias. The team takes the lead in calling local shelters, calling non-profits that serve homeless people on the streets, and calling hospitals that are in dire need of protective gear.  

Taking part in the fundraising is crucial to how we are able to buy material. You will partake in the finances, budgeting, and having fundraisers online to continue to bring in donated money. You will work with the Technology Team for managing PayPal and transferring of money.
