Healthcare providers in Lebanon do not have access to hand sanitizers and soaps. As a result of this shortage, they are using antiseptic which is damaging their skin causing rashes, burning, dryness, pain, and more. We sent the Aquaphor to help heal their skin, as well as individual hand soaps and sanitizers to safely wash and disinfect their hands.
Lebanon is lacking basic PPE gear for the common people as well as healthcare providers. These masks are given to Syrian and Palestinian refugees, those living in Lebanon, and healthcare providers in some of the most underprivileged hospitals there.
Donations of masks to Clinica Esperanza is supporting this free clinic in Rohde Island by helping to provide masks for their healthcare workers as well as patients that enter their clinic.
Here is their mission: "Clínica Esperanza provides linguistically-appropriate, culturally-attuned medical care to uninsured adults living in Rhode Island. Since 2010, we have served more than 10,000 patients, 80% of whom are Spanish-speaking, through our clinic and health education programs. Free healthcare is provided by a team of multi-lingual volunteers and core staff. We believe healthcare is a human right." - https://www.aplacetobehealthy.org/home
